Born in 1977, graduated in Design by the Faculty of Architecture of TU Lisbon, in 2001. Since then has developed projects as freelancer for various companies and institutions. In 2001 held he’s internship at Almadesign, where he would work until 2008 and where, in a cross section approach, participated in the majority of the projects developed by the studio (National Design Awards 2009 - Company), namely the 3 sets of furniture for Animovel: Tribu, Venus (2nd Prize AIMMP Wood Furniture Design 2005) and Flag (Awarded the best set of furniture at the Paris Furniture Fair 2007). Was also involved in the bodywork and interior development of several coaches for the Salvador Caetano Group: OptimoSeven (Good Design Award 2009), Cobus (National Design Awards 2009 - Industrial), Intercity and Winner (Euro2004 coaches).
In 2006 began the doctoral course in Design, for which succeeded in obtaining a scholarship from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education. (FCT – MCTES)
Winner of a internship in the Young Designer Competition 1998, in the Plastics area, at Marinha Grande, the 2nd place in European competition "REBUS: Bus Concepts for European Cities" and drafted as one of the 3 finalists - Wheelchair, in the Millennium Prize Sagres-Expresso category of Design and Autonomy. In all competitions he participated integrated in a team. Already had their projects displayed at collective design exhibitions, such as the Young Designer1998, ExperimentaDesign 2005 S * COOL and the Projecto AZERO - Design no Quotidiano at the National Society of Fine Arts.
Member of the Portuguese Designers Association (APD). Board member 2006-07 and 2009-10. De.: SID - Strategic Impact of Design researcher, on behalf of APD. It is associated with the Design Research Society and Quercus - National Association for Conservation of Nature.
